have u listened to tame impala? people say that recent tame impala songs sound similar to aphex twin which is why I wanted to get into his music

i bought his slow rush album this summer at a mall in romania
loved it imo despite what some people say

although i cant say i hear many similarities but aphex twin has inspired ppl like kanye, c418, radiohead and others so maybe Kevin is probably influenced by him in some way too maybe

people say the similarities are in the deadbeat album, not slow rush. if an artist inspired big artists, there's no way they can be bad. I'm definitely listening to aphex later today

i came across his track Flim one day and a memory struck me like an arrow cuz i KNEW i heard this song before and i was correct and ive listened to him since

im big into lil intricacies of sound and stuff and so his stuff never gets old for me no matter how many times i listen to the same song over and over
theres so many little things i discover in each track when i play them again and again and its awesome

I'm exactly like that too, glad to see someone else feeling the same way. there are some songs that I didn't care about much at first listen but ended up loving so much after a couple more listens

aphex twin's ambient works volume 2 is a massive album and i recommend playing it in the background or when you're chilling
