They selected the mane then hit ctrl c moved there mouse up a bit and hit ctrl v

That would only be true if they were on Windows or Linux. If they were on MacOS, they would've used Cmd+C and Cmd+V.

i mean its kinda cool tho hear me out
pyroar was just a lion to begin with, mane looking like the kanji for fire
the mane is now the kanji for flame
it also got the cool red and brown patterns by the eye and flame-shaped fur on its tail and wrists
lions are already cool so it’s kind of hard to make it cooler, game freak may have actually cooked with this one
