I had a similar moment. I was in my parents' room with them when Sundance channel aired an advertisement for a crime documentary series about the furry fandom. I had to leave the second I saw it, and I ended up giving them the impression that I stormed out that I was angry. They don't know I'm a furry yet, but still, there are some times where I wish the furry fandom wasn't as popular as it is now.
