Pokédex Entries
1: “It spends its days rolling in soft soil and giggling at nothing in particular. When attacks miss it, Plunda becomes so confused it forgets who was fighting.”
2: “It emits a gentle dust that glitters in sunlight. Some say its confusion gives rise to strange dreams that drift through the air like pollen.”
Habitat & Lifestyle
Plunda live in meadows, flat plains, and forest edges where sunlight filters through dust or pollen.
They wander slowly, tracing the same patch of ground for days.
Each step loosens soil, and every roll spreads nutrients — unintentionally fertilizing the land.
At night, Plunda curl up in the open, glowing faintly as their dust catches moonlight.
They don’t startle easily; even thunder makes them only blink and sneeze once.
Temperament
Plunda are gentle, oblivious, and utterly unbothered by violence.
If struck, they may just stare in mild confusion before resuming whatever they were doing.
Predators tend to lose interest quickly — the calming chemicals in its dust cause mild drowsiness and a lingering sweetness in the air.
When an attack misses, Plunda’s vacant focus scrambles; it becomes dizzy and confused, unsure if it’s still in a battle or a dream.
Social Behavior
Plunda gather in slow, drifting groups called “puff herds.”
They don’t compete or organize — they simply mirror each other’s movements in serene synchrony.
Communication comes through puffs of dust:
Spirals for curiosity
Stars for happiness
Long trails for sleepiness
Entire meadows can glow softly at dusk when several Plunda nap together, their motes merging into a pastel haze locals call “Dreamfog.”
Interactions with Other Pokémon
Plunda are universally tolerated and often adored by wild Pokémon.
Comfey & Flabébé weave flowers into their dust, mistaking them for soil mounds.
Sandshrew and Diglett aerate the ground they soften.
Snorlax often sleep near herds, lulled by their calming aura.
Bird Pokémon perch atop Plunda while it moves, treating it as a living
