This genocide has gone for so far and hurt so much, that even mocking Israel seems futile at this point. I cannot imagine having dozens of my family members being a victim to the occupier’s assault, and not retaliate. Some cannot, and some choose to, and I completely understand that.
Norman Finkelstein said something along the lines of
« By continuing such agression, and the other side being a victim to it, one should expect that « terrorists » are in the making to defy it. »
I want this message to serve as a reminder for Saleh al-Jaafarawi. And I’m sorry if the joke seems dark. We are in serious times and I promise you I never ever wanted to (and I hope to have not) be/ing unserious.
This isn’t only about shaming Israel. This is also a breakthrough to reality. One does not have the same standards of living as people on the other side (of the world or wall) have. It’s worrying that policital interests play a huge role to this.
