I can’t think of name for them so here
The star is an orange dwarf, moderately but not much dimmer than the Sun, meaning that its lifespan is about 20 billion and not 10 billion years. It’s also closer to the galactic core (it’s still in the milky way). These both would explain the alien cargo ship as aliens have been traveling near the system for longer, and also have had a higher chance of leaving something there.
The system has five planets
1st is 30% the mass of Earth and is like a much much hotter Mars, it’s very close to the star too
2nd is 120% the mass of Earth and is the planet beanoids live on. Due to the larger gravity compared to earth the beanoid species developed larger bodies to account for the gravity and this explains their bean-like appearance.
3rd is 40% the mass of Earth and is in their system’s asteroid belt, their asteroid belt is smaller due to them only having one (smaller) gas giant and therefore less disruption in planetary formation occurs. This planet is made up of platinum, gold, lithium, and several other valuable minerals. Aliens actually don’t find this planet valuable since they have enough of silver, gold and platinum, and that’s also why they didn’t bother with the inner solar system and never really messed with beanoids most of the time
4th is about the mass of neptune and similarly helped evolution on the beanoid planet like jupiter did by deflecting or affecting some asteroids, just on a smaller scale than here since it’s smaller than like jupiter
5th is 5% the mass of earth and is way out on the edge, it’s a mars-size icy planet which is a bit like saturn’s moon enceladus except bigger, this is the main attraction for aliens in the system beanoids are in since they contain a rare mineral which is technically a type of ice only produced in extremely cold conditions, it’s useful in engineering alien ships therefore making it very valuable.
Also: Due to the increased length of time that the beanoid planet was habitable, evolution also took a lot longer, imagine twice as long as how long it took for Earth to eventually have humans
The beanoid planet has two moons which both are about 10% the size of it. It used to have a third smaller moon but this was mysteriously destroyed by an event which caused it to form a debris field around the beanoid planet. This field is dangerous and is why beanoids have been unable to do much space travel past low orbit, although the planet’s top scientists are working on this too
