Be hopeful for the future

That's only true to an extent. Of the two sides I see conservatives actively pushing for policies that hurt as many people as possible, and then on the other hand, I see liberals pushing for policies that would actually help people in need.

Yeah, sometimes conservatives actively push policies that help billionaires instead of the working class, which it's always interesting to hear people in poverty try and defend that. However I would say that liberal policies have actually hurt more people and ruined parts of cities like New York, Chicago, and San Francisco which have made these places super expensive for the average person while being super dangerous. In my opinion you don't see things like that in many conservative Midwestern states where while the income is usually lower the cost of living is very low and there's little crime because these people are in more tightly knitted communities.

Liberal policies don't always work, but there's a big difference between a policy, not working and a policy that's intentionally designed to hurt people. Even when liberal policies don't work they at least have good intentions behind them. A lot of conservative policies are just driven by hatred and bigotry.

Small towns still have lots of crime, it's just usually kept hidden. It's not going to be stuff like bank robberies or carjacking. It will be stuff like child abuse or domestic violence or drug use.

My point is that the everyday people you see like at your job don't want to see the world burn. But you right there are some that do
