Fun fact: I actually asked for this in hospital. I had a central line going straight to my heart, and a picc line (a longer term version of an IV in effect). Apparently some of my nurses had researched it at Uni and it would be a very bad idea. It wouldn’t kill you, but it’d make you very sick.
