why are v2's arms different are from each other

in game he has a regular right arm, and the knuckleblaster for his left arm, at least on the first fight with him

I mean
v1 has two equal arms, one for weapons and the other for parrying and punching
so V2 could technically parry if he held his weapons on the knuckle blaster arm
