Why would I voluntarily chose to go to 1985 and instantly lose all the friendships and connections I made in my lifetime and be put in a time where I would be despised or at least accepted a lot less due to my sexuality

I don't have any friends that I am very close to and wouldn't mind losing. and I am just so tired of the repetitive life I'm living rn that the thought of starting a new one feels refreshing
