interesting choice. I didn't really have much to say about the first episode but I will say some of the animation is kind of good

i love the fact that its a Japanese anime that doesn't overly push Japanese culture. nothing wrong with Japanese culture (i absolutely adore it in fact). but it's just unique that it is set in a European medieval setting. another anime i liked that was a different culture is the classic one piece (as one does).

Maquia when the promised flower blooms, there's knights this is also very sad

Shadows House, not in Japan and old setting

Made in abyss, not Japan and this is also kinda sad

Violet evergarden, again basically set in fictional Germany
