I think this person's judgement is partially incorrect in when it comes to defending private property and you should absolutely be allowed to use lethal force as long as you personally live in the vicinity of where the intrusion happened, since you have no idea whether the person breaking in plans to kill you or not. It's a different circumstance if someone breaks into a store, since no one lives there. But they are absolutely correct in that people are hasty in many cases for saying that someone deserves to die and I've seen a serious lack of humanity in many people.

i uh tbh i skimmed over it bc its hard for me to read when something is in like big paragraphs like that, but from your comment, i can see where youre coming from, because if it really was an intrusion, then sure the person can use force. but if someone just so happens to be passing by, they shouldnt be instantly viewed as a threat
