No, Sherlock. It means that rational people all agree he is an idiot, and therefore dislike him. The fact-checking part was a joke-- which is typical of meme culture. He didn't misspeak, and neither did I. Maybe we were delayed by the construction of the "Tower of Babil" you referred to.
