i summoned that thingy with the dreamblade but i think it's a dlc thing from what i heard

it's not important to the main quest but it has nice rewards

it's more of a challenge for the sake of a challenge though, contains the like third hardest boss in the game

it's all optional but it does give you a couple charms and % so if you're going for 100% or just want to fight a couple really fun bosses i would totally give the sidequest a try
