How are most of these things scary to some people

i understand how pregnacy can be scary for women
idk about you but im kinda f**king scared of getting raped
spiders are just f**king terrifying
public speaking is a common fear because of a thing called anxiety
if you were like on the top of the empire state building you’d probably be scared if someone pushed you off and you died
i would prefer not to get caught in a shooting because i don’t really like dying
if it’s dark you won’t be able to see anything if a murderer comes up to you

This is how it goes for me:
Pregnancy doesn't affect me
A rapist encounter is just an opportunity for me to kill someone for fun
I love spiders
I don't have anxiety at all and public speaking is a breeze
I love being at heights, my favorite hobby is literally going down cliffs with rope for fun
A shooting would finally be an exciting event in the midst of boredom
I love the darkness cause it's nice and peaceful for me, and deep night is my favorite part of the 24-hour cycle

I understand that others fear it, I'm just saying my personal take on these things
