Death penalty. I’m sad that this doesn’t exist in France as well. Why? Because « You should deprave them of liberty » or worse « To be human and respect their livelyhood ».
I never got around the idea of punishing someone with a few years in jail for having killed, or to release them after doing a crime because of « good conduct ».
How is that justice rendered to the victim? As if we were giving them a second chance. And also, what is it with the « that’s why everyone should carry a gun. » ?
You would shoot him sure but you still got stabbed, that woman still died at the end of the day.
And let’s not forget the people watching. I blame them but I blame myself aswell. One would say « Nobody’s had such a situation before. » which is correct, but that doesn’t mean you can stay there and let her die. This looks like another Bystander Effect. Look at the dripping of the bloody knife. You’re telling me no one understand the situation? Some people got up but what about the others?
