They're each all over the world so there's not really any such thing as races for ASCII-oids. However in a lot of areas you will see more of one subspecies because of the fact that some individuals of a subspecies will move to places that better fit their climate preference that their specific subspecies adapted in

You know, on earth, sometimes one country has several climates, like how America has both tropical and snowy

It's the same for Tera. It was also caused by natural selection. And also the fact that over on Tera, their DNA actually "knows" what traits to code for to fit an environment, unlike mutations on earth which are ALWAYS random, on Tera, it can be random OR it can be "chosen" by their DNA

But does “subspeciesism” exist?

No not really, however there are some "slurs" for ASCII-oids that aren't really slurs

Like for the fish subspecies, "Aquaboy" or "Aquagirl"

Well, the avian subspecies can only really glide.. which actually doesn't work that well..

Also the fish subspecies is only MILDLY better at swimming, another subspecies of ASCII-oid could just train a bit to get just as good or even better

Unfortunately ASCII-oids don't lay eggs

They do give live brith but they're not mammals, they don't produce milk, their young are literally able to eat solid materials as soon as they're born

However ASCII-oids can also reproduce via division and fragmenting
