According to the NIH and Harvard medical most people you see anywhere have HSV1 which is typical cold sores. Has nothing to do with being poor or rich. Its highly contagious but most people don't show symptoms which makes it more transmissible. HSV2 is genital herpes and can only be transmitted through sex, hence an STD. You didn't lose the game if you get a cold sore once in a while.
