Oversimplification. The US is failing under the weight of its own crapulence, arrogance and greed. Anyone who lives here will suffer, me and mine included. But since I've been watching this coming trainwreck of corruption, malfeasance and mass murder for decades, I've had time to adjust my expectations. USA will take its loss of hegemony ungraciously and will likely destroy everyone in the process. I do appreciate poetic justice however.
