Agreed. I mean think about it, if you remove Chihiro's growth throughout the story and No Face, which is the only exceptional part of the movie, you're left with an unfunny movie about about a girl working at a bathhouse as random bs things kinda come out of nowhere. There's a subplot about the manager and her identical twin sister and her weird baby thing because. There's a mean old random spider guy that grows to like her, wow, how original, there's a dragon boy that sparsely appears to help Chihiro and his twist is that he's a random river spirit that she knows that was never previously established. She pulls literal garbage from a stinky river spirit and its apparently one of the best scenes in the movie. And no, this is not anime fatigue. I love Naruto and One Piece and will still call it some of the best pieces of fiction I've ever seen. But Spirited Away? no, not even close
