That's kinda what I'm doing with galactic groove, I'm taking characters from the og planet dob game and redesigning them (there will also be new characters) except i remove the features on humans where anything spells out "D O B" to make things seem more realistic.

Also in the og planet dob game it's implied that humans know that aliens exist, but even though galactic groove canonically takes place after, in Galactic groove, ASCII-oids and humans aren't fully aware of eachother's existence
