yeah I mainly just use this site to socialize but a lot of the new users here have just been way more shitty recently, we have cornball users here that are now popular somehow, and that's kinda been driving me to stop using this stream so much because god.damn I'm addicted to this site a lot and more than I should be

I don't go to physical school (I do online) so the only time I get to socialize is when I go to a youth group every week and it's kinda shitty and doesn't even last long. I have barely any interaction with people physically besides my family and I can't stand my family as they're all annoying lmao. so naturally I find myself addicted to internet

i started 6 years ago and i wanted to have a more flexible schedule in what I did and didn't like having to show up to class as when i went to a physical school

now i'm like "f**k this slightly better schedule, i'm still getting swamped with schoolwork and i don't have ANY interaction with anyone my age and it has unique problems on its own"

that's kinda what i've been feeling like saying but my parents also like me doing online school since they're usually busy. both my parents have a job and my mom sometimes has to go to work really early in the mornings so she probably wouldn't like driving me to school. it's a really easy way for them to parent since i'm mostly self-regulated and they don't even care about my grades that much
