Well the way I've always noticed it is that's how most of them are.

They are so committed to that they make their sexuality their entire identity, it's kinda sad.

So when you speak out against their entire identity, that's insulting everything that they are when it really shouldn't be.

I think it really just shows how far the effects of sin can go for these people. I know it seems kind of deep or something cringe but essentially it's really that msmg has always been supportive of a group of these vile sinners.

but this should not apply to all people, each case is different
