Im not condoning their actions but just because they broke the TOS it doesnt in turn give you an excuse to do so as well, they're most likely a troll and attention is what they want so you shouldn't give it to them, just report them and move on next time

I'm not saying you're wrong but if you get mad and then respond to them, you're giving them what they want. You're getting mad and letting their words get to your head, which is what trolls want. Of course, their actions were inexcusable, but their actions being inexcusable doesn't mean that you breaking the TOS in response becomes excusable.
