chemical bonding simplified

ionic is more like they robbed each other and now they can't leave or they will risk not getting their stuff back

I just see it as a perfect yin and yang bond. one needs an electron, the other wants to get rid of it. now they're both getting what they want and perfectly cancel out. but maybe I'm jus thinking about sodium chloride bond. I love that bond.
