Eggsicutioner's updated lore! It's in the comments (an itty bit late, only 2 entire weeks)

The Eggsicutioner was conceptualized and built years ago by villain known as The Tyrant in order to destroy Eggyhead, who had a bit of a rivalry with, but was never fully finished, and merely became a weapon who's only directive was to destroy. He went on to attack and destroy Terra and Data, they were rebuilt, but Eggsicutioner's presence was now noticed by many of the powerful figures in the multiverse.

He mostly wandered, destroying most things his unfinished code deemed worthy of obliteration. He went on this path of mindless destruction until the Inkperial Era.

The Exotic Creator, also created by the Tyrant, found Eggsicutioner wandering the broken down laboratory he was constructed in while looking for something to further his goals for the empire, and he found exactly what he was looking for.

The Exotic Creator took Eggsicutioner back to an Inkperial laboratory, much more advanced than the one he was built in. Exotic Creator kept him there for a while, where he was monitored and tested, leading to little results and the death of a few scientists because they were perceived as obstacles to the robot. Despite this, Exotic Creator kept him out of interest, and a loose idea.

One day, after Omeletta's death when she attempted to attack an Inkperial base, and Eggyhead's family were with the Yukuna family, the Exotic Creator visited a special site of ancient Egg ruins. He found something that intrigued him in the murals on the wall.

There was a depiction of an angelic being in the center of a wall. As he followed throughout the ruins, he came to realize something that gave him an idea. The angel depicted was none other than Eggyhead, or rather the being inside him that gave him his power. He figured if this power was as strong as the murals described it, harnessing it could be a great step towards the new world EC envisioned. He did not know how he would do this however, but eventually, his brainstorming bore fruit.

He had a template to build off of right in the middle of his lab. And so he returned, and began to create a machine in the image of the angel he saw at the ruins.

When the body was created, EC took the systems from the original Eggsicutioner and upgraded them heavily, as well as adding his own Inkperial software to ensure his new weapon was secure and loyal.

When tested, Eggsicutioner had extremely high-scoring results, being unlike anything else in the Inkperials arsenal. He became a nigh-unstoppable force that tore through anything in its path, and much to the success of the Inkperials. Many soldiers of varying race, strength, and skill were all slaughtered by what the survivors of it called the mechanical embodiment of wrath.

One day, after Exotic Creator acquired the Warlords Stone, he became so powerful that his strength exceeded that of his old weapon.

However, rather than discard the creation he was proud of, he decided to repurpose it for something else.

Exotic Creator was sure of his victory, and yet he knew that there was a fraction of a chance he could lose. And that could not stand. If his body, powerful as it was, was destroyed, he would need somewhere to hide and bring himself a new body.

After thousands of simulations of his potential loss, he determined one potential host, one far more likely than any other. A small, insignificant little robot, with a fondness for hacking.

Data.

EC decided that, if he were to lose, she would become his new vessel, but to ensure that his potential vessel would be safe and ready for him, he decided to send off Eggsicutioner to guard the little robot.

He disguised it as a programming error, one that made him docile, and caused him to attach to the little robot.

He knew it was a tad bit risky, and that his own weapon could turn against him, but with the power he had at the time, he did not bother himself with such thoughts.

Luckily for EC his plan paid off.

After Exotic Creator lost and was broken, he remained hidden until it was time for his resurgence.

As predicted, Data was the one to become his new vessel, and Eggsicutioner had fulfilled his mission. Eggsicutioner had been purposefully programmed to recognize EC and Data as one in the same, and thus became the guardian of this lesser vessel.

However, EC was eventually defeated for a second time, this time being permanently.

Eggsicutioner was left with no master, and the directive to protect Data, and so he follows his directive. His technology, inner and outer, has been modified over time, but his core goal has always stayed the same, and it continues to stay the same.

It will always be the same.
