High school: Year 7-12
Any education onwards is usually university or med school and shit

age 3/4 kindie
5 start school @ y0/y1
go to y6 then intermediate
y7&8
y9 to 13 is HS
you can leave hs at age 16 (y11 generally)
i didnt do y1 because homeschooling

we have like
age 3-5 kinder
age 6 start school at y0
age 12 finish primary
age 13 start high school at year 7
age 18 finish year 12
age 19 start university
the ages are on average in some cases people of younger/older age canget boosted up/sent down while determining when to start school

in nz if you are born after term 1 then you take y0. otherwise you go straight to y1. makes sence why yall go to y12 now.
