Can someone catch me op to speed on ep 6 I haven't got the chance to watch it

pomni teams up with Jax and shoots people in a 2v2v2 battery royale and then Jax crashes out

Well what does he do in his crash out

he tells pomni that the only reason he became friends with her is so that when he betrays her it would hurt more because he's supposed to be the one that hurts people (even though he obviously actually liked her)

Wasn't he just an asshole?

in ep6 (and a bit in 5) he showed more emotion

Wasn't he detached from the main cast?
