I hate it so much when I'm looking at the solution to a math problem and the writer is like "okay, we have this monster of an equation, let's just plug in the correct answer that you couldn't possibly know beforehand and proceed using that, giving us another equation that we can solve using the Spongebob formula which involves the known surface area of a decahedron and the differential between Mars' and Neptune's gravity, plugging in the correct answer again, and getting it all to equal zero".
