Official Jolly Gang player design!

Working on this game has been a little tough but doing the character designs has been so much fun
Reverie and the player have been my favourite to design
The final two characters just need to have a few more touch ups in their sketch phase and then they can be fully coloured digitally and have sprites made of them

It’s a visual novel! It has some horror elements but also has romance
It follows the player/visitor and the three main Jollies (What the other characters are called) Jimmy, Pal, and Reverie
There are 6 jollies in total, the other 5 remain happy to ensure Jimmy’s happiness
Being unjolly or negative results in either fatal or non fatal consequences, this does include the player
This is the story in a nutshell

I see a semi recurring theme of woodland creatures

This is the last animal character
Their is themeing within the designs for a reason
Since I feel like it’s worth mentioning
Characters that have a relationship or will have a relationship have similar designs or design themeing
Example: Tel and Pal are married and have similar arm and hand styles as well as wedding bands
Now take a look at the player sprite and Reverie and see what themeing you can find besides them both being animals

they both have long black clothing and they are both white

There is more but those are good elements
Look closer at their hands
