Triceratops; Herbivore; Late Cretaceous; One of the well known dinosaurs on the island is the Triceratops. It is very recognizable, thanks to its neck frill, and 3 horns on it's face, which gives its name meaning "Three Horned Face".Though triceratops is a herbivore, it's very dangerous if threatened. They run at speeds up to 35 mph which can make them much more dangerous when charging. There's also an alpha triceratops, a much bigger triceratops with a bigger and wider frill, and larger horns. They can stand up against large predators like T Rex.
