It’s based about a virus who tries to steal data from computers but they (because I don’t know what gender to give them yet) are absolutely terrible at what they are supposed to do and have to find a way to get out of poverty

I know this sounds oddly weird but trust me it works on my head

So like the world (at least for the protagonist) is like the dark web(?) where people pay viruses to steal data for whatever they need it for, but our protagonist is terrible at it and they are poor to the dirt

again, sounds like a peak comedy show idea
or at least a peak show idea!

And the episodes would either be them failing to actually do something or like an anime that has continuity and the story revolves around the protagonist getting actually better with the help of an expert virus
