rant | theres this new thing in america of calling nonwhites ppl of colour and maybe its jst my opinion but thats kinda weird like 1. just use non white?? poc groups all non whites together like they don’t have a specific ethnicity and also non white is interchangeable for any other label if you want to exclude any other group from a specific experience 2. it sounds awfully close to coloured person which i don’t think is allowed anymore in the usa 3. why do we evn need these special labels?? it’s another excuse to baby non whites and tell them to make themself comfortable and don’t worry about important things like how people say time and math are white things as if it’s derogatory against whites when it’s actually tryna trap non whites | image tagged in shira s psa | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

like im sri lankan tamil and ashkenazi russian and on surveys when they have an option for sri lanka its always sri lankan sinhalese or for russia its just russian christianity or sum

and for me i have NEVER heard anyone else other than white people or nonwhite people with only white friends call non-whites poc like
