So like, the tarnished in my case is husk of his former self, quite literally the wolf of men (That is Why i wear the raging wolf armor)
He lived on auto-mode, Just killing everything around, helping everyone, until he met the franzed flame and was like

So, He decided to heal himself and do the ending he deemed the right one (ranni’s)
But in the end, He stills feels empty.
He is tarnished, no one else. Neither the people he met neither his own wife knows his true name, Despite all of his struggles and “heroism”, he won’t get to sit on the throne, or to be the lord of the lands between, He won’t get love and glory, He might be hated by his wife, who he himself doubts truly loves him.
He gave up everything for a world that stills rejects him.
He experienced love with melina, Ranni or any other waifu.
He tasted glory defeating the dragons and demi-gods.
With Ranni, he is tecnically free of war, politics, mass killing and vows. But would be a deeply wounded.
Since He was chosen, He was a husk of whoever he was.
He will be unable to feel or enjoy life, He Will live in doubt with a wife that He doens’t even trust.
He was a raging wolf, now a rusty sword.
