Take a piece of paper. Think about what you want in your wildest dreams. The version of you you’re scared to make the jump to become. Write your ambitions down. Wealth, influence, education. Whatever comes to mind. Now take those goals and dedicate your time to achieving them. You can do anything you set your mind to, don’t kill yourself. You’re better than that, and you’re better than the losers who made you want to die in the first place. The world is yours my G, never forget that.

Thanks, I hope you’re doing well. Your life is worth too much to just throw it away. Keep going and one day you’ll be winning and you’ll be glad you stuck around.

Maybe they'll care if I'm in a hospital bed in a coma. Maybe they'll realize that no, I never faked it for attention. No, I was not too quirky or happy to be depressed. I want them to know it was too late for me. Talk to people? For what? To get the same nonsense begging me to not be sad? Something I can read on inspirational quotes? Stop regurgitating the same shit.

What do you need?

I don't even know anymore. Words don't help

The only thing holding me back from giving up is a fear of pain and a fear of no afterlife. I'm a f**king coward

NOTE: Can people stop telling me to turn to religion?! Just because I mentioned a fear of no afterlife doesn't mean that picking up a Bible is going to solve all my problems. (ANOTHER NOTE: I'm not a Christian, I'm Wiccan so I don't really believe in God anyway)

Look, everyone is entitled to believe what they want, but this advice feels kind of insensitive because it feels like you're imposing your beliefs on me and downplaying my problems.

Ok broski, I need you to pray to Jesus and ask him for help… I’ll pray too. I know you are not religious (or at least what you said about the afterlife suggests it ) but i think it will help. You won’t instantly be happy but you will be able to overcome these things if you ask god for help.

I don't want to be disrespectful, but I hate when I vent and people tell me to pray. It's not that simple. I need professional help but I don't know where to look.

Reminder: 988 is the suicide hotline if you are in the US
BetterHelp has online therapists, they have mixed ratings but are probably better than I am

I'm in the UK

Also what does calling a hotline entail? I wanna keep my anonymity

UK National Suicide Hotline: 0800 587 0800
It says on their website that all calls are confidential and anonymous.

Find a good music also. Like Michael Jackson or Smash Mouth.

If you were actually afraid of hell you'd read the bible and go to a church. Ask help from a pastor.

MrFidgetSpinner already gave good advice, but one thing truly matters.
WHY.
What is so bad that could possibly outweigh the fact that you live on the only planet in this universe (as far as anyone knows) with trees, oceans, birds, sunrises, rain, and snow? Does it outweigh the good things that will happen in your next 60+ years of life?
Again.
WHY.
Wanting to die is a symptom, not an affliction in itself.

1. I feel a bit hurt and guilty because of this comment
2. Not everyone has a specific reason as to why they want to end it. I don't, and I wish I could tell someone what it is

1. Sorry but not sorry. That's kind of the point, sometimes it takes a bit of a shock.
2. You might not be able to put it into words, but it's there. Family situation, past or current abuse, loneliness, previous self-harm (an expression of self-hatred), etc. Maybe keep a journal for the next few days and see if you can find a pattern?

I think it might be the repetitiveness of every day and knowing that my parents probably see me as a burden now. I have no energy, my mum's stressed out at her abusive workplace, and my dad is really ill right now. They see me as a liability, since I haven't grown up and I don't know what to do. If it were up to them, they never would have had me
1 up, 2d
If the days are repetitive then try doing something to break the monotony! Sports, art, walking around the neighborhood every once in a while, volunteering, etc. There are loads of things you can do cheaply and on your own or with others. Might even make a few friends while you're at it.

I'm sorry about your parents, but it's not your fault and you are NOT a liability. It sounds like it's a rough time for everyone, but that's what families are for: to make it through together. I might suggest easing a bit of their burden by showing them that you can take care of yourself. Make your own food, help around the house without them having to ask you, etc.

That is extremely insensitive. Who are you to know whether or not someone is suicidal?
Even if you do mean well, what you're doing is like rolling into a minefield with a 16-wheeler truck.

😭 because I said the same thing when I was a teen, but when I got older I realized I was a spoiled brat.

Everyone is. That doesn't make you special, nor does it invalidate his feelings.

My gloves are off pal, I said what I said because I believe it's true.
Every teenager is that way for a while. Even I was.
You're life can't be that hard, you have a device, and internet, and you're not complaining about starvation, which shows that you have it easy.
If you actually wanted help and not attention, you wouldn't be asking for help on a MEME website.

Get a psychiatrist

So pretty much do all of that and find something fun in your life. I suggest Call Of Duty Mobile if you don't want to leave your room.

IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
I don't want to eat, I just lie in bed all day, and every day is the same as the last. I still have Psych and Crim transition work to get done in a month, but I have no energy to do it. I miss the old days 10 years ago when I was 6 and the only thing I felt sad about was falling over and scratching my knee. I want to die. I want to fall asleep and never wake up, but I'm scared. Scared that I'll either go to Hell for my laziness or that there is no afterlife at all.
