The eggs float in the river and are swallowed by a herbivore drinking the river water. The eggs travel to the herbivore's muscles and hatch into larvae living off the herbivore. The larvae become adults and reproduce to lay eggs pooped in the river by the predator. A predator eats the herbivore and the larvae enter and mature in it's digestive tract.
