This new policy is kinda counterintuitive imo. People in their early teens that lie when making a yt account usually do so to watch edgy/gory/otherwise mature content. While people in like their early 20s may not care as much about that kind of stuff, and might even be into fandoms considered “childish,” like Mario or Pokemon for example.
As for me tho, I think I’m chilling. I mostly use it to jam to music and rewatch certain Invincible scenes, and those who know how Invincible can get know YouTube ain’t gonna ever flag my account as underaged.
