Phantom Lore: Phantom was once a Froggit who just happened to hold the ORDER TINT. They began a journey to become a Final Froggit, but fell into a Dark World before they could finish. A strange man rerouted their journey to a path to "maintain balance and ORDER" by destroying anything that could bring chaos. The Dark World, called Memory World(a mostly empty room with a lot of photos) grew barren until Kris found themself in it. Phantom, in hiding, followed Kris, only revealing themselves at certain moments, usually brief. They reached a replica of the Card Castle, where Phantom revealed themself once and for all, but continued following Kris. The two *supposedly* sealed a replica Dark fountain, and found themselves in Kris' room. Hometown and their house was barren. They decided it would be best to take a break, and although Phantom was offered to be allowed to use Asriel's bed for now, they preferred his trash can for inexplicable reasons. The next day, they went back to the Dark World, this time a barren replica of the Cyber World because Kris didn't want to work on their project on a weekend. The two grew a bit closer as friends, and Phantom got stuck in the floor a lot. The two navigated through, Kris jumped off a building and Phantom landed on their head, spontaneously becoming hat. Nubert harassed them for two seconds and then vanished. Eventually they found the real fountain, and with Replica Nubert's help, sealed it. Kris and their newfound friend rushed to find the camp where everyone else was at, where Phantom had now joined the party.

Daffi: Daffi is a friend of Ichno's family, and holds the CURIOSITY SOUL. More than once, they've stayed with Ichno and Ms. Mori, and Mori makes most of their clothing for them. Daffi is homeless, so Mori treats them like one of her own. One day that begun the whole journey, Atticus and Sonya had arrived at Ichno's house and interrupted an "unimportant conversation," as Ichno calls it. Atticus explained that seeing as the four of them were the outcasts of Rippleridge, they should go out and explore. Atticus said a few strange thing about Sonya's behavior, who was currently interacting with everything in Ichno's house, which Ichno dismissed as paranoid. Daffi and Ichno agreed, and the next day they set off. As the party grew, Daffi's CURIOSITY did as well. At one point, when they had found themselves all alone, they stumbled across a trash can containing something with a familiar shape. Daffi nudged it, and suddenly a heart-shaped light rose from it. Daffi absorbed the light, and instantly wondered what would happen if they absorbed more. This was determined due to their role as a psuedo-Flowey, and their careless CURIOSITY drove them to nearly kill the entire group before every SOUL they had collected, along with their own, was stolen by Hero, the holder of the HATRED SOUL- but that's a story for another time.

Sonya: Sonya is one half of someone named Yellow, alongside Ira. Sonya holds the SUBMISSION SOUL, and frequently clings to their elder siblings, Ira and Atticus. Their small size came from Yellow's longing for the past. They were the "Outer Shell," seeing as Yellow's being still needed to be simplified before they could be split into Sonya and Ira. Ira took some of Sonya's traits until each held exactly half of Yellow's traits. Ira vanished immediately after leaving Sonya. Both of them feel quite guilty regarding certain matters, as though they know much more than they let on. People in the group grow suspicious of this, and the moment all the memories had accidentally been brought back to them, Ira and Sonya had no choice but to reveal the truth that they had created this world. Sonya admitted though that neither realized that this would happen, and that once things began to weave together, the path strayed from the one they had created. They stated though that they COULD send everyone back to their worlds, they had no desire to considering how they didn’t want "the wish to go to waste." They also knew that it could gravely affect the ones created just for this world, and were aware that some from differing worlds have already grown close. Sonya wasn't even sure if they COULD send anyone back.

Vess: Vess is the TRUE CANVAS SOUL, and considered to be a Goner considered their constant monochromatic tone, lifelessness, and inability to speak fully. They hardly ever speak, but follow whoever the player is controlling very closely, as though they can tell. They themselves cannot be controlled, much like Chara and Hero, who are too powerful to be controlled. Being a TRUE CANVAS SOUL, they cannot alter their SOUL color as they please like other CANVAS SOULS, and need a lot of help until they can stop being considered soulless. Eventually, the player is forced to control Kris before entering a cutscene. Vess approaches Kris and lets out a stutter. "Strings... not... yours," they said. They- although unclearly- state that Vess was the one who was meant to hold the strings- not anyone else. Vess offered to free both Kris and the Player from each other, and take their rightful place as the player character. Without any player input, Kris agrees, and both Vess and Kris tear out their souls. Vess unties the now visible strings around Kris's soul and wraps them around their own, causing it to glow with a faint periwinkle light. Vess returns their soul, no longer a CANVAS SOUL, to their rightful place, and becomes the true vessel for the player, now bearing a MIND SOUL.

PlayerVess: The Player and Vess share the body, and Vess treats it more like a Niko-Player situation, as they still speak with Player in the subconscious. Now with a MIND SOUL, the two work with one another, Player calling most of the shots. Player is now able to make unlimited choices, unlike with everyone else they've controlled, and can speak as they please or offer control to Vess. Vess is a bit more coherent when speaking through PlayerVess, but isn't quite as well as it. Toriel ultimately decides to adopt PlayerVess due to her experiences with both Vess and anyone controlled by Player, and both sides agree wholeheartedly. This greatly discontents Asriel, Kris, Frisk, and Chara, but they eventually get used to PlayerVess, alongside all of the other children Toriel decided to take in on that journey. (Toriel has now adopted 6 more children, two of which chose to stay with Asgore instead, as well as Phantom as a "pet", so now she has eight children in the household, seven if you only count PlayerVess as one)

Although Sonic does carry a specific personality, it's important to note that emotions and any human-like traces work very different on them, since they are not a physical entity and exist in another dimensional realm, so take this as a "translation" of their personality to a closest language. With that said, Sonic's personality will slowly transition during a game's playthrough, as they get progressively more aware of what they are and their true potential. At core they have an eccentric personality, they have a big ego and are very manipulative, being extremely clever. They hide their true intentions from their victims, luring them with something that they like and/or is special to them, trying to come off as welcoming & comforting, creating a false sensation of safeness and masking their true core in the simulated personality of the character they are impersonating. Although being a formidable liar, they can get very angry when things don't go the way they intended, in those instances, they have a hard time hiding some of their true aspects.

This leads to their whole world getting unstable together with them, since Sonic, is not only the character, but the whole anomaly and everything in it. In those circumstances Sonic might have very rapid mood changes and turn into the Midareta form, In this state, he becomes in-between no self-awareness and full self-awareness, which results in instability and inexpressibly "feeling gray". This is a very unstable form that affects not only Sonic, but their surroundings too. After obtaining the third ring, Sonic takes the Wurugashikoi form, in this state, he becomes fully self-aware himself, as they can bend the anomaly to their will without limits and even affect the real world. They no longer try mimicking the original Sonic mannerisms and instead take on a more eccentric and confident posture, which reflects their narcissist and sadistic nature a lot more.

When Sonic's true nature leaks through to the point where their model starts to alter drastically, he then assumes his Kyokai form. Despite being closer to their "true form", it cannot be fully conceived in 3D, so the model collapses in on itself, giving Sonic a broken mesh appearance. The rings are fused into his body and becomes massively taller. Sonic is incapable of true love and the only thing that truly matters to them is their goal, they have zero moral code, (ran out of space and will post more rewrite lore

true rewrite lore: In the 90's, an exploiter priest decided to create something to deceive people of the time and get easy money on top of it. The priest of a popular church created a fake computer program that supposedly will allow people to communicate with Christ, the lack of information and the ease to manipulate a fake story at the time contributed to the idea being bought. Lots of copies of said program (which was false) were sold by the church, shortly afterwards, some accidents occurred reporting the death of people who supposedly were influenced by the software to take their own lives. The repercussion was loud, but the scarcity of evidence meant that it was not possible to arrest the priest immediately. So, an investigation began. Meanwhile, the priest decides to test the misleading program he commissioned, to somehow understand how that could be happening. After sending the first message, he was frighteningly answered by someone on the other side, which in a disturbing way started to talk about life and about how the priest used something sacred to manipulate people. When the priest questions the entity - "who are you?" It just answers "I am GOD." The priest is found dead shortly after the incident, "accidentally" set fire to his own house and his body. Copies of said software were confiscated by the authorities, but some remain circulating around to this day. One of those copies falls into the hand of an unknown person, The game now takes the shape of a 3D experience similar to a Sega Saturn game, where you play as Sonic who came back to their island after defeating Dr. Robotnik, and is ready to reunite with their friends to play games and have a good time. The game is a mix of a party game with classic Sonic platforming style, where Sonic plays minigames with their friends, Tag, hide n' Seek, etc. But, as you would expect, things start to go south when the player himself ends up killing Sonic's friends and the game seems to react bizarrely accurate to their actions. Sonic progressively goes more and more self-aware as the game progresses, taking actions for himself, and inducing the player to do things their way, lurking into the player's mind with the intention to claim their soul. The red rings Sonic wears in their body are the in-game representation of their victims' souls, they collect them after killing each of their friends in the end of their respective minigames
