Move to a state like Florida, they have stand your ground laws. A lot of armed intruders kill the victims, if an armed intruder ever tries to make you go into your basement or tries to tie you up, they probably want to kill you. The self defense advice I’ve heard is to fight like your life depends on it, because it probably does. Stay safe guys, invest in a good security system too.
