There's some merit to this.. Our district was heavily hit by y a perpetual DARE program. Their position on marijuana being a "deadly drug" was obviously untrue to my preteen ears. I assumed they were lying about all other drugs and it wasn't long before i was trying everything. I've been clean for several years now but not before spending a decade married to heroin..
