The SWORD can’t increase damage based on its own properties, the LOVE mechanic is meant to show YOUR willingness to hurt, not the weapon. It only increases your MAX HP, MAX ATK, and MAX DEF by just a small portion, and your XP shows the people you’ve killed. If your WEAPON has an attack boost of let’s say 20, it would be added to your MAX ATK, which would be 11 (20).
