For a example, Infernals wife and child dying is ment to happen in order for Infernal to become who he currently is. If a anomaly that doesnt make that happens, The Crooked Man steps in and fixes that error. The Crooked Man also makes deals with people and actually can give them new abilities and powers, all at the cost of something they most love.
