in Carol's home we see a sword in the kitchen, the sword is shaped like the one the knight holds, the odd thing is that the sword doesn't show chipping in her kitchen. However, as seen in chapter four, it is unlikely but possible to use the darkness to revive someone. The Knight is obviously a Holiday (left handed, antlers) and knows Kris is some manner. Considering how Carol obviously got mad about the guitar and susie, it is likely that Dess is long dead. The knight also knew the Bunker code hinting at a reason for such. Carol could've also been mad because about th guitar cause Susie wanted in the bunker
