My parents had 3 cats at one point (probably never again) and they once all gathered to the heater during a really cold winter. They all went to the same side of the heater, and what you see in the picture is pretty much what occurred.
Unfortunately, I can't find the picture to save my life, and two of them have since passed away, so it never WILL happen again. But it was one of the greatest things I've ever seen as a cat owner.
