You're not the only one who did not have an autism diagnosis right now. Many autistic people, especially girls, were not diagnosed until later adolescence or adulthood. I, also a girl, was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 or 4.

I'm considered an Aspie but i was diagnosed with PDD-NOS because i was minimally verbal when i was around 3 years old (Now i talk a lot).
I was diagnosed twice.
