Been a long time.

First off I'd like to thank everyone for helping me through these years. Y'all helped me improve my English and this morning I got an acceptance letter from my state's university for a double degree of law and business management.

It's been a long ride. I remember when I joined Imgflip. I was a terrible student and was going through a hard time. Everyone helped me and I'm really thankful for that, unfortunately I had to leave suddenly to get some things in my life straight.

I don't have time for Imgflip/SFG anymore, so this will probably be my last post but before I go I want everyone to know that matter how bad things seem to go you can still turn them around.

The improvement is true, no matter how screwed your life is you can, slowly but surely improve it through daily work, remember that when you hit the bottom the only way left is up. That's the only thing you need to know, perseverance is the key to success, no matter how bad or great things are they are nothing without effort. Keep that in mind.

Not sure if you’ll see this or any other person will, but that’s awesome! Glad we could help (indirectly lol) and glad to see you got everything worked out! As for SFG, no one uses it anymore though i do periodically checkup on it because i feel like i must, so don’t worry about time for SFG. Thank you for being a part of this stream and our lives!

I’m becoming a junior in hs and i’m going for engineering, probably mechanical. Only problem is our school is 2.7 million in debt and no one else wants to be an engineer really so the engineer department sucks this year

Our superintendent has almost been fired 15 times based off petition so that’s definitely one of the reasons for the debt. I think we’re funded by the state partially but not paid for by the state. Glad you’re happy too!

I turned 18 about 2 months ago, and wow, the university has changed me a lot in less than 6 months. The 2023 me wouldn't believe me if he were told how I would be now.

Engineering might suck now, but trust me, you'll end up with a good job, plus not only does education let you get a better job, and thus earn more, but it also makes you a better person, trust me, you can tell apart someone who has had a good education from someone who hasn't. By the way, if you are a junior in high school, how old are you? Because if you don't feel like talking with someone much older than you I get it completely.a

Man… high school just keeps pushing exponentially, and i push back exponentially in return. Whether it be the workload, people, other miscellaneous things, it only grows. We have lockers but they’re really narrow and not a lot of people use them.

Yeah i’ve been told i have a bright future, i just don’t like the way i see the future of STEM careers. I’m 16. I’m used to talking to people older than me so don’t sweat it.

I'm glad to hear that, honestly I'm like you. I have a friend who's 16 and that's it, the rest of my friends are, matter of fact, way older than me, I honestly like hanging out with adults, speaking with them can be very interesting.

I'm glad to see you are working hard, I bet it will eventually pay off and don't sweat it, STEM has a pretty good future I believe. I finally finished my first semester, just got 10 semesters left haha😂. I'm really happy actually, now I have legal books in my room and I love them, they will probably stack up and become a problem but for now they look good, I'm glad I got into a double degree for both Business and Law. I love business, but Law is much better, it's a year more of studying but now I'll know both of them.

I don't know about the US, but here collegue isn't really that big of a jump, I'd say by the time you are 16 it's as hard as it gets, after that you just have to endure on the same level.

I'm personally learning Japanese, and I'm kinda happy with my progress and these months I've really gotten into Pokémon, I specially love the TCG, I've got a bunch of rare cards (not that special, just spent about 25$ on all 4 of them) and a few decks, I also love travelling and exploring both nature and the farthest and strangest places of my city, how about you? Well since there’s been like 10 new cancer cures in the past few days, STEM is definitely looking good lol. I’m glad you’re loving what your doing, and that double degree will do wonders for you from your resume to knowledge in multiple fields.

I’d say college also isn’t the biggest jump imaginable here in terms of difficulty, at least for the math and science part of things since the teachers of those classes teach like college professors.

With the release of the TCG mobile game last year, Pokémon has definitely started to grow on me although I haven’t touched the game in a while because of school (I haven’t touched my switch in the last month and they decide to give splatoon a major update😭). I used to do some card collecting when i was young, never got anything rare (i think) but it was fun. Not much of a traveller mainly because i live in an area where i don’t have to travel to do what i like. I live in the woods so there’s a bunch of places to snowboard and mountain bike. I’m also pretty close to the ocean so i go fishing mainly in the summer because that’s when i have the time to go. Since it’s been an extremely cold winter this year (the feels like temperature yesterday hit -30 Fahrenheit which is like -34 Celsius) i’m not going outside to do any sort of sports so i’ve been drumming with the time i’ve had. It’s been really fun and i wish i had more time to get better. I usually drum to a bunch of splatoon, vocaloid, and metal and it makes for a really fun workout since i try to essentially hit as hard as possible (because it’s fun!).
