It lasted some months. It was caused because of the collapse of many pyramid schemes. People had stored many of their savings in banks and because of the fail, a million assault riffles and guns were given to people. Basically people were going mad and didnt care. They shot innocent people when the real problem were the banks. So many albanians still have scars from it, physical and mental, often being a shot eye or limb and paranoid feelings towards the goverment
