Now, Ohio (as a slang term), I don’t know the origins of. But from what I’ve picked up, it’s similar to people stereotyping other states, like not being able to have anything in Detroit, or… actually I can’t think of any other examples. Anyways, from what I know, the state of Ohio has had some wacky crime cases, and a lot of them are absurd, so that could be a reason onto why “Ohio” memes are mainly of random, unexplainable things happening.
However, the meme gained popularity and eventually lost all meaning.
