What is it if you didn’t file a return?

As a US citizen your yearly share of the defense budget is $3000...so for every man, woman, child, or person on life support they are racking up $3,000 worth of spending. A family of four has $12,000 worth of military spending...just for their protection...And that's not counting the tons of other stuff that is military spending that isn't technically under the defense authorization bill...

Whut a bargain...

I work in the defense industry.

...and...

Defense spending feeds my family.

Congratulations. I imagine if do you put yourself to work that wasn't funded by theft for destruction you could also feed your family.

The defense industry consumes effort that could build this country up and delivers tools to tear others down. Instead of improving our own country we spend trillions to keep others in shamb les

You seem to believe that other countries would not invade and overtake us if we didn't have any national defense, and simultaneously that America cruises the world like a bully, randomly beating up on poor countries for the lolz.

You are free to be wrong. I will continue to do my job which enables you to continue living peacefully full of errant, naive beliefs.

And you seem to think those countries are a threat to individuals instead of this Unconstitutional and out of control government which claims powers over us that are neither legitimate or authorized by the Constitution.

So my $3000 make us one of the safest countries…sound like a bargain.

Cool... I am quite sure you are allowed to send them a check at any time...why am I compelled to spend $15k a year making more enemies for my children? $15k that could definitely give them a better life ... instead it feeds the war pigs and the folks who enjoy the bravery of being out of range.

Our economic condition is the biggest threat to our future...not some Boogeyman trotted out by the defense industry to justify bigger paychecks.

So eliminate all military in US and see how long you last. Your kids will be working in a cobalt mine

You must live somewhere that folks prefer to lie down than stand up. I promise you, no hostile Army will occupy Kentucky for long. Nor will they have supply lines through it.

I'm okay with a Constitutional Army. One that is big enough to respond if attacked. To train everyone else if necessary, to develop new strategies, tactics, and equipment. But not one that is big enough to do foreign adventurism without Congressional Declaration of War. One that is never used or a threat to our own populace. One that has maybe a tenth of the buying power that's being spent on it now.

Mind you, I am also advocating for a militia system where the people and the States can benefit from that Army training cadre. Where solid, durable, effective weapons can be acquisitioned and equipped by folks with the desire and wherewithal to do so. Where the Production lines are designed with the intent of maintaining the knowledge and equipment necessary to replicate and ramp up should anyone be so foolish as to earn our wrath.

But this Team America World Police shit doesn't protect Americans, it puts a cross hair on us

I don't hate America by any means. I love this country and the people in it. I love the American spirit.

But it's government doesn't reflect that in any ways. It uses force and coercion for the benefit of the folks with power...and does a hell of a propaganda routine on the rest.
