This reminds me a bit of something Slavoj Žižek once said: "Why should you be happy when you can be interesting?" As one guy explained: "What he's saying is that having something to want (desire) in life is more important for well-being than owning something, since happiness is having (not necessarily in the materialistic sense) everything you care about." We don’t like “big booty Latinas," "clingy femcel GF," or "thicc goth GF." We like the idea of having one.
